Si è svolta ieri sera sull’Altopiano la partita amichevole fra Mc Control Diavoli Vicenza e Asiago Vipers, in preparazione della nuova stagione che prenderà il via sabato 26 settembre.

I vicentini si sono aggiudicati il derby con il risultato di 6-2 che, anche se si tratta di un’amichevole, è un buon segnale, soprattutto contro i Vipers, formazione sempre ostica e pericolosa e che conterà anche su alcuni ex biancorossi per la prossima stagione.

Il risultato non deve certo far pensare che la preparazione sia finita, la strada è molto lunga e i vicentini continuano la preparazione con gli allenamenti e probabilmente un’altra amichevole per raggiungere una buona condizione di forma e soprattutto un buon amalgama del gruppo che, rispetto allo scorso anno, ha subito numerose modifiche. In primis l’arrivo dei tre stranieri, Nathan Sigmund, Alexander MacDonald e Tom Wennerstron che portano qualità e spessore alla squadra, ma che devono inserirsi e trovarsi con i compagni.

La prossima settimana i biancorossi procedono con il loro percorso di preparazione per arrivare pronti alla prima gara ufficiale, sabato prossimo, 26 settembre, in trasferta a Ferrara, contro una formazione rinforzata anche dall’arrivo dell’ex Riccardo Dal Ben.

Quest’anno, vista la situazione e le limitazioni anti-Covid, la presentazione ufficiale della squadra non si potrà svolgerà, ma per presentare l’avvio del campionato, e soprattutto le novità in casa Diavoli, ci sarà un incontro con la stampa mercoledì 23 settembre alle ore 19.30 presso il Ristorante “Fuori Modena” a cui parteciperanno, per contingentare la presenza, i tre nuovi atleti dei Diavoli, il capitano della squadra Luca Roffo, bomber Andrea Delfino, lo sponsor Mc Control e alcuni dirigenti della società.

The friendly match between Mc Control Diavoli Vicenza and Asiago Vipers took place last night on the plateau, in preparation for the new season which will start on Saturday 26 September.

The Vicentini won the derby with the result of 6-2 which, even if it is a friendly match, is a good sign, especially against the Vipers, a formation that is always difficult and dangerous and which will also count on some former red and white for the next season.

The result should certainly not suggest that the preparation is over, the road is very long and the Vicenza citizens continue the preparation with training and probably another friendly one to reach a good condition of form and above all a good amalgamation of the group which, compared to the last year, it underwent numerous changes. First of all, the arrival of the three foreigners, Nathan Sigmund, Alexander MacDonald and Tom Wennerstron who bring quality and depth to the team, but who must fit in and find themselves with their teammates.

Next week the red and white will proceed with their preparation path to get ready for the first official match, next Saturday, 26 September, away to Ferrara, against a team reinforced by the arrival of the former Riccardo Dal Ben.
